We’re excited to be welcoming Susan Hollins to Falkland Estate for a very special Shamanic Grief Ritual Day which will be held in the Yurt. Susan is an Accredited Grief Therapist (NCIP Accredited) and a Shamanic Practitioner with her own private practice in Leven.

This event is the first of its kind and tickets are available here.

If you’re grieving and finding it too much in every way then this Shamanic Grief Ritual Day will provide you with respite and renewal. Susan has designed this special event particularly for a small group of 8 people to gather together in Sacred Space:

• to call upon and to listen to our helping Spirits (Guides/Allies), our Ancestors, the Spirits of the Four Directions and of Earth, Air, Fire and Water as we ask for help in releasing our emotional burdens, and seek renewal and hope.
• to use Fire Ceremony, Earth Offerings and Ancestral Honourings as a means of expression and of communication
• to talk and to listen to one another, sharing much or little of your experience of loss and grief
• to express your grief through simple creativity – clay, drawing, moving, singing, walking among the trees on the Falkland Estate, sitting by the brook…

Susan will facilitate and hold the Sacred Space for everyone throughout the day, tending to anyone who may be very distressed, and being available for brief personal conversations as necessary.

A WhatsApp group of participants will be set up prior to the Shamanic Grief Ritual Day which will be used for first introductions, to share practical information and to answer any questions you might have.
