Here at Falkland Estate, farming the land and bringing food from farm to fork is a crucial part of what we do to tend to the land and people. Quality, local produce connects people to land in a way that buying food through more modern, mass produced ways does not allow. With a commitment to native breeds, with both organic beef and organic lamb fed and finished predominantly on grass. Our cattle is mainly Aberdeen Angus and Belted Galloway. Our large flock of Texel and Scottish Blackface sheep can be found throughout the estate. We produce meat for sale through local outlets including NeighbourFood Falkland and the The Stables shop on Falkland Estate.

Organic barley, oats and beans are grown on Falkland Home Farm. Our crop supplies a range of uses including feed for cattle, malting barley for local distilleries and oats for organic cereal bars.
