Margaret Bathgate is an award winning artist who completed her Honours Degree (Drawing and Painting) at Edinburgh College of Art in 2006. She won The Barns Graham Award from the Royal Scottish Academy and showed ‘Polka Dot Harbour’ the following year at the Pittenweem Art Festival. She is the recipient of several other awards and has shown work regularly with Visual Art Scotland, the Society of Scottish Artists and has been included in the RSA Open.
Margaret’s exhibition consists of paintings in watercolour and acrylic with images of large outdoor installations which have been displayed on Falkland and Cambo Estates, the Isle of Islay and Perthshire.

At present, Margaret is illustrating stories about her childhood.
Previously, she spent a career as a Music specialist in Fife Primary Schools.
Exhibition is free to view and open 10am to 4pm every day at the Stables, Falkland Estate.
