Many tiny creatures live, love and thrive in the woodland here at Falkland Estate.  Keeping their homes in tip-top condition sometimes needs the help of humans too.
During June, 3 open session brought in human helpers both big and small – identifying places, designing homes, thinking about materials and generally looking at the land from a bugs-eye point of view.
You can enjoy the fruits of this labour without getting your hands dirty or getting up-close-and-personal with any little beasties. The beauty of this Cohabit Project is that the bugs get great homes, and the humans get interesting art installations.
To join in without the risk of any dirt under your nails, follow the sculpture trail (see map) and take in the art installations as part of the landscape.  If you want to be more hands-on, you are invited to add to the art sculptures – with more info to follow soon on social media and this webpage.
Meantime – find the sculptures, can you see anything living in a house like that?
