Fife Council’s Supported Employment Service supports people living in Fife with a disability or health condition to find and sustain employment that aligns with their skills and interests. Part of this journey can involve Supported Employment Training which supports clients to build confidence and prepare for employment.
The ‘Hidden Hearts’ project was established to provide clients with an opportunity to develop their transferable skills in a realistic and supportive work environment while working towards a common goal of creating a unique and engaging art exhibition centred around the theme of hearts. In total 44 clients have created over 300 individual designs and over 200 unique tiles with 3 members of staff offering support throughout the project.
Come along to Falkland Estate this Valentine’s season to see if you can find all the hidden hearts…there might even be a prize for the kids at the end. This is a FREE indoor and outdoor exhibition – just drop by the café for a free booklet to help you find all the hearts. Wrap up warm, wear suitable shoes for a woodland walk and why not get a cuppa at the café while the kids enjoy some colouring and you enjoy the art? We’re open from 10am ’til 4pm 7 days a week!
This exhibition has been created by Fife Council’s Supported Employment Service. Happy Heart Hunting everyone!
