Santa is coming to The Stables!

We’re delighted to welcome Santa and his cheeky Elf helpers back to The Stables this Christmas!

Our woodland yurt will once again be transformed into a cosy festive grotto, with the log fire glowing, fairy lights twinkling and plenty of North Pole magic in the air.

Santa and his Elves will be waiting to welcome little visitors and spread some Christmas cheer ahead of the big day.

Each child will have the opportunity to meet Santa, receive a special little gift and a chocolate lolly, and have a photo with the man himself. Children can also get creative at our festive craft booths, with all craft activities included in the ticket price. A lovely festive experience to share together and a special Christmas memory to treasure.

Tickets: £15.00 per child and one accompanying adult

Age suitability: 0–12 years

This is a shared group experience, with a maximum of 8 children per session.

Although Café 1821 will be closed, our Stables shop counter will be open from 4:30pm–8pm on Friday 11th December, serving hot chocolates, tea, coffee and a selection of snacks.

Add a little extra Christmas magic!

We’re delighted to welcome the wonderful Face This Way Art & Design to The Stables on both Friday and Saturday, offering festive face painting for little visitors! 🎄✨

It’s a lovely way to add a little extra sparkle to your Christmas visit and get everyone into the festive spirit.

Please note that face painting is an optional extra and is not included in the Santa experience ticket price. Payment is made separately to Face This Way Art & Design.

Important information

• Date: Friday 11 December 2026.
• Tickets: £15.00 per child and one accompanying adult.
• What’s included: Each child will have the opportunity to meet Santa, receive a special little gift and a chocolate lolly, have a photo with Santa, and take part in the festive craft activities. All craft activities are included in the ticket price.
• Refunds: Tickets are non-refundable, except in the event of cancellation by the organiser. If the event is cancelled, your payment will be refunded via the original payment method.
• Arrival times: Please arrive in good time for your allocated session. If you arrive late or miss your time slot, we may be unable to move your booking to another session due to Santa’s busy schedule. Tickets remain non-refundable.
• Parking: Parking on site is limited, so please allow plenty of time to park and make your way to the venue. Additional parking is available at the following locations:
  • The Stables Overflow Car Park – approximately a 5-minute walk.
  • Falkland Village Car Park – approximately a 15-minute walk.
  • The Forest of Falkland Gateway – approximately a 20-minute walk along a woodland path.
• Friday evening parking and lighting: The Stables is a rural estate, and our car parking areas and access routes are not lit. If you’re joining us for a Friday evening session, please bring a torch or headtorch to help you find your way safely to and from the venue. We recommend wearing suitable footwear and allowing plenty of time for your arrival and departure.
  Please note: The Forest of Falkland Gateway is not a suitable parking option for Friday evening visits, as it involves an approximately 20-minute walk along an unlit woodland trail. Please make alternative parking arrangements if The Stables venue parking is full. Please take extra care when walking around the estate after dark.
• Weather arrangements: As the Woodland Yurt is in a woodland location, high winds may mean we need to move the Santa experience indoors for everyone’s safety. If this happens, we’ll relocate to another magical setting within The Stables building, so the festive fun can continue!
• Accessibility: There are three steps into the Yurt. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact our team before booking at events@falklandestate.co.uk and we will do our very best to support you.
• Prams: Prams must be left outside the Yurt and can be parked under the adjacent woodland tent.
• Dogs: Only assistance dogs are permitted inside the Yurt.
• Waiting area: The waiting area for your Santa visit is under an open-sided tent in the Woodland, so you’ll be outdoors while waiting for your allocated session. Please wrap up warm and dress appropriately for the weather to help keep everyone cosy while you wait.
• Group size: This is a shared group experience, with a maximum of 8 children per session.
